Overheard story about travel in India
[the guy telling the story] got on a long distance train, and found someone else sitting in his assigned seat. The normal polite “Excuse me, I think you are sitting in my seat” conversation started, but the man already there checked his ticket, and was ALSO assigned to the very same seat.
A porter was able to sort it out though: “You have the right seat, but the wrong train....
